    • For GDPR purposes, the Company is the Data Controller.

  • Cookies are small files placed on your device by a website, containing browsing details among other uses.

  • Country refers to: United Kingdom.

  • Data Controller (for GDPR) means the Company as the legal person that determines the purposes and means of processing of Personal Data.

  • Device means any device that can access the Service, such as a computer, mobile phone or digital tablet.

  • Personal Data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

  • Service refers to the Application.

  • When accessed via mobile: device type, unique ID, IP address, OS, mobile browser type, unique identifiers and diagnostic data.

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (beacons, tags, scripts) to track activity and store information to improve and analyse our Service.

Calendar Integrations

In order to provide the Services, we may connect to your calendar accounts through Microsoft 365 APIs, Google API Services, iCloud Calendar, and Fastmail Calendar.

Through these integrations we may access event metadata such as:

  • Titles and descriptions

  • Invitee emails

  • Event locations

  • Associated metadata

We will only use this data to provide the Services. We will not:

  • Transfer calendar data to third parties except where necessary to provide the Service, comply with law, or in the case of a merger/acquisition (with notice).

  • Use calendar data for advertising.

  • Permit humans to read calendar data except with your consent, for security, or to resolve support issues.

HeyJamie’s use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including Limited Use requirements.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We retain Personal Data only as long as necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce policies.

Usage Data is generally retained for shorter periods unless used to strengthen security, improve functionality, or required by law.

Transfer of Your Personal Data

Your information may be transferred to and maintained on computers outside your jurisdiction. We will ensure adequate protections and controls are in place for such transfers.

Your Rights

  • Delete Your Data: You may request deletion of your Personal Data, subject to legal obligations requiring retention.

  • Access & Correction: You may update or correct your data via account settings or by contacting us.

  • GDPR Rights: Where applicable, you have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection.

  • CCPA Rights: If applicable, you may request disclosure of collected data and request deletion. We do not “sell” personal data as defined under CCPA.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

  • Business Transactions: Data may be transferred in a merger, acquisition or asset sale.

  • Law Enforcement: We may disclose if required by law or public authority.

  • Legal Requirements: To comply with legal obligations, protect rights, prevent wrongdoing, ensure safety, or protect against liability.

Security of Your Personal Data

We use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Subprocessors

We engage subprocessors to support delivery of our Service.

Current subprocessors:

  • OpenAI, Anthropic, Cloudflare, Neon (access to calendar information and PII provided voluntarily)

  • Microsoft Clarity, Google Analytics, PostHog, Loops (behavioural analytics, anonymised identifiers only)

We select subprocessors carefully for compliance and review regularly.

Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date, and where appropriate we will notify you by email or prominent notice.
